Hanbam Village Stone-Wall Lanes

한밤마을

A village of stone walls under the mountain

Address
Daeyul-ri, Bugye-myeon, Gunwi, Daegu

A traditional village on the northern foot of Palgongsan where nearly every house is ringed by a stone wall, which earns it the nickname Jeju of the mainland. The walls are said to run about 6.5 km if laid end to end. An hour or two covers the lanes, and it is a good break when you tour the Second Seokguram and Hanti Pass road together.
