From Bogyeongsa you climb toward Munsuam, and the ridge to Munsubong and Samjibong is gentle. The real test starts after Samjibong: over an hour of steady climbing, then a short steep pull just below Hyangnobong, whose summit sits deep in the forest and sees few hikers. The way down drops steeply toward Sigmyeong-ri and meets the gorge path at Eun Falls. Trip reports give 18-20 km and six and a half hours or more.
