From Gwimok village the forest path climbs to Gwimok Pass, then turns off toward Gwimokbong, the peak beside the Myeongjisan ridge. It is for people who want the neighbour rather than the summit, so even weekends stay quiet. Back the same way, about three and a half hours in all.
