Park on the pass and a wooden staircase leads to the octagonal pavilion Sangyongjeong at 840 m. It takes a few minutes on foot. The road drops away in twenty-four bends below, and the Gakhosan and Minjujisan ridge rises to the south. You need no hiking gear, so it works as a warm-up before the ridge or a way to see the shape of the mountain.
