Past Jangdo rock and the west gate from Seochang you reach a fork: right to the summit, left to Hyangnobong. The ridge opens views to Deogyusan and the Muju plain, and in autumn the cliffs glow red. Add the summit and Anguksa and it becomes a 10 km day.
