Over the ridge on the Danyang side of Hwangjangsan runs the Seonam valley. Sangseonam is its upper reach, where broad pale rocks stack up over the stream. It sits by the Dorak-san trailhead, so hikers stop to cool off after a climb. The parking lot is right beside it, so there is almost no walking.
