From Seowon-ri you cross Gubyeongsan, Peak 853 and Sinseondae to Janggogae, then Hyeongjebong to Piatjae pass. From there the ridge runs over Cheonwangbong, Munjangdae, Gwaneumbong, Myobong and Sanghakbong and drops at Hwalmokjae and Sinjeong-ri. Boeun County gave this ridge the Chungbuk Alps name. Some walk it through the night, many sleep at Piatjae.
