It is 1.8 km from Car Park 1 to Beopseongsa and 2.7 km on to the summit, 4.5 km one way. The Gumi city guide rates it a three-hour route. It stays quiet on weekends when the main Daehye Falls trail is packed. The slope steepens as you go, and with so few people on it there is nobody to ask if you lose the path. A trip report from a snowy day found the descent here steeper and slipperier than the way up.
