From Car Park 1 you climb to Daehye Falls, cross Halttak Pass and tag Hyeonwolbong. Instead of retracing, you drop through the Seongan side, over the outlying peak and Kaldabong, and land back at the falls. The loop is 9.8 km, a bit over three and a half hours by hikers' logs. The Kaldabong descent is slick under fallen leaves.
