Start at Gaksa Bridge opposite the Tripitaka Theme Park and walk the Hongnyudong Valley toward Haeinsa. You pass Mureung Bridge, Chilseongdae and a small ecological pond, and cross the stream on about eight bridges. Nongsanjeong pavilion and the rocks of Nakhwadam come next, with a 200 m stairway branching up to Gilsangam. The walk ends at the Haeinsa parking lot. The valley is named Hongnyu, red flow, for its autumn reflections.
