Climb the Chilbul ridge iron stairs from Beopjeon-ri to Chilbulbong, cross the saddle to Sangwangbong, then drop to Seoseongjae and finish at Baegundong. When the Beopjeon-ri trail opened in June 2024, a north-to-south crossing of Seongju's Gayasan became possible. On the way down you follow the Yonggi-gol stream.
