The owner used to run a boarding house, and the gondre rice made for lodgers got so popular it turned into a restaurant. Glutinous and plain rice go in the stone pot, topped with gondre greens and sesame, and it all steams together. A set with stir-fried pork is on the menu, along with mountain-village sides like acorn jelly. A solid meal after coming down from the ridge.
