The temple, said to have been founded by the monk Doui in the Silla era, sits in forest at Gajisan's foot. Its grounds hold a stupa designated as a national treasure. Before a hike it is a quiet place to loosen up by the stream, and afterwards a courtyard bench is good for resting. It is a nunnery, so people pass through quietly.
