It climbs about 1.8 km from the lower station to the 1,020 m upper station in roughly ten minutes. A deck path continues at the top and is easy walking. This side faces Cheonhwangsan and Jaeyaksan, so Gajisan's summit needs a separate walk. Round-trip tickets are sold only at the lower station.
