This is the signature walk on the Samcheok side. From the Deokpung village car park you follow iron steps and railings under the cliffs to the first and second Yongso pools. The path hugs the stream so the green water stays beside you, with old pines clinging to the rock walls above. The second pool is the turnaround; the upper Yongso-gol beyond is not open to hikers.
