This 12 km loop starts at the control post behind the Deokgu Onsen complex, climbs the ridge to the Eungbongsan summit and drops back along the valley. The ascent is a steady forest climb; the descent follows the sound of the stream. Records vary, so allow about six hours. The hot spring is right next door afterwards.
