Around Songchu station, Jangheung-myeon, Yangju

Starting from Songchu station you climb the south ridge to Yeoseongbong and cross Obong. After Obong the trail swings around the hillside toward Uiam and is far gentler than the climb. Past Uiam you drop to the Dobong ranger post and finish at Dobongsan station, crossing the whole mountain from Gyeonggi to Seoul. One trail log put the steep part to Obong at just over 3 km and the whole day at over six hours.
