A Seoul-city theme walk through Musugol, the village at the foot of Dobongsan. Past the weekend allotments you cross Seilgyo and Mansegyo bridges, and a roadside zelkova about 245 years old stands along the way. The lane passes a royal clan graveyard and a park ranger post before reaching Jahyeonam hermitage: 1.6 km, 30 minutes at an easy pace. The road is open to vehicles, so the walking is easy. Beyond Jahyeonam, a hiking trail climbs toward Wontongsa and Uiam rock.
