From Sudeoksa you pass Jeonghyesa and reach the top, then drop along the ridge toward Gyeonseongam and finish back at the temple. Sources give 4.5-6 km and about two and a half hours. You avoid retracing the same steps, and pass several small hermitages on the way down.
