From Hasami village on the Taebaek side you climb to the ridge, cross the Gubusiryeong pass and reach Deokhangsan. It is far quieter than the Hwanseongul route and follows the Baekdudaegan line. Reports differ on distance, so allow 5-6 hours round trip.
