The way over Yukmojeong pass to Yeongbong is far quieter than the Baegundae route. From the top, the round brow of Insubong is close enough to touch and Baegundae and Mangyeongdae stand lined up behind. Dropping toward Haru Pass joins the road to Doseonsa. It is a good way to see the big peaks without spending all your strength.
