From Hyojabi you follow the Sagimakgol stream up to the confluence, then climb onto the Sumeunbyeok ridge. Forest gives way to rock, and Insubong appears huge head-on. Yeomchobong's wall stands to the right, and the route meets Baegundae at Baegunbong gate. It is a famed photo spot, so the ridge gets crowded on weekends.
