Jingwansa Temple

진관사

A temple on the western slope, behind the hanok village

Address
73 Jingwan-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul

Past the hanok village, a stream path leads to Jingwansa on the western flank of Bukhansan. The temple is said to date to the Goryeo period. From the courtyard the ridgeline sits right overhead. Hikers heading up toward Hyangnobong and Bibong stop here to re-tie their boots. It is also a quiet place to rest by the stream on the way down.
