The gentlest way up to the fortress ridge from the Jeongneung side. A forest path beside the stream opens at the Neopjak Rock lookout, then long runs of steps take over. Nothing is steep, so your breath holds, though the stairs wear on some people. At Bogukmun the gate frames the city, and the fortress wall leads on to either Daedongmun or Daeseongmun.
