Around Dokbawi station, Bulgwang-dong, Eunpyeong, Seoul

This ridge strings together Jokduri, Hyangnobong, Bibong, Samo Rock and Munsubong starting from Bulgwang. Each summit has its own rock section, so rest spots are few, but every top opens a new view. Plenty of people unpack lunch at Samo Rock, and the last drop from Munsubong lands you at Daenammun where the fortress wall continues. In short-day months, start earlier.
