From car park 1 you climb the Jeokgari valley, cross the Maebongnyeong meadow and reach Gurongdeokbong. Viewing decks face north, south, east and west around the top, the most open spot on the mountain. Jueokbong is boxed in by tall trees, so this is the better pick if views are the point. You come down the way you went up. Sources differ on distance and time, so allow plenty.
