From car park 1 you pass Idan Falls and car park 2, climb through Jidanggol to Jueokbong, then follow the ridge to Gurongdeokbong and Maebongnyeong and descend via Jeokgari-gol. Trip logs put it at about 12.9 km and a little over five hours. On the ridge, layered mountain lines show between tall trees. The descent follows the stream and passes Madang Rock back to the car park.
