This route links Baegyangsa and Naejangsa along the southern foot of the range without touching a summit. You cross Gokdujae, pass Deokheung village, Hwayang Reservoir and Hwayang-ri, and come down from Yugunchi to Naejangsa. At 10.4 km with no long climbs it is far easier than the full traverse. The end is on the Jeongeup side, so plan a ride back.
