You start from the Sariam parking lot behind Unmunsa. Stone steps lead to the hermitage and you are breathing hard from the first minutes. Past it, a forest path climbs to the ridge, and near the top the way opens between rock and grass. It is a north-facing slope, so shade lingers and ice stays long in winter.
