Pocheon side, half day
The short Pocheon route gets you both summit markers, Seobong and East Peak, before lunch, with a pot of chicken soup waiting at the bottom. Even in the short days of late autumn the hike is done before 2 pm.
Gapyeong traverse and bridge
Day one goes up past the Eyebrow Rock and down by the temple and the falls, so the rock scenery comes on the climb and the quiet part on the way down. Day two is a gentle walk to the suspension bridge.
Both sides of the mountain
Warm up on the Gapyeong side, give the summit its own day, and finish in the quiet Pocheon forest. One mountain spread over three days.
