You start in front of a farm in Heunggyo hamlet. The first 3 km is a steady climb through deep shade of larch and oak. On the ridge a signpost says ten minutes to go. The summit has two stone markers, one for Yeongwol and one for Danyang. There is no big view, but it is quiet.
