Tradition says the monk Wonhyo trained here in the Silla era. A small hall sits under a rock cliff with Wonhyo Falls dropping beside it. Most Soyosan routes pass through, so it works as a rest stop before or after the climb. The falls are loud enough that voices drop in the courtyard.
