About ten minutes of stone stairs above Uisangdae brings you to Gongjubong. Trees close in some sides, but gaps in the rocks show Dongducheon below and the ridges toward Pocheon. With one marker only, a team or two usually waits for photos in foliage season. Uisangdae has the wider view, so most people see both.
