Songnisan itineraries
Beopjusa to Cheonwangbong
Up the stream path behind the temple to the highest point of Songnisan, then back the way you came. There is nothing to get lost on, and the sanchae food street waits at the bottom.
Munjangdae, Temple, Cafe
Day one takes the shortest line up to the Munjangdae slab, then Beopjusa and the old pine in the afternoon. Day two is a loose-legged walk to a hermitage and a viewpoint cafe.
Three Days with a Ridge Day
Warm up with the temple and hermitage on day one, then string Munjangdae, Sinseondae and Cheonwangbong into one long ridge day. Day three ends slowly at the Malti pass and the Gaeun market in Mungyeong.
