Seoraksan itineraries
Osaek to the summit
Start in the dark at Osaek, top out on Daecheongbong before lunch, and be back down by early afternoon. Soft tofu and a cafe facing Ulsanbawi wait afterwards.
Two days at Sogongwon
Day one is Ulsanbawi at the top of about 800 steel steps, day two a waterfall viewpoint. Sleeping in Seorak-dong keeps mornings relaxed and leaves room for the cable car.
Baekdam to the summit
Day one is the quiet inner Seorak valley, day two the Osaek climb, day three a temple and cable car near Sogongwon. The hardest leg sits in the middle, with easy days on either side.
