This ridge walk runs from Deungseonbong over Cheongunbong and the Samakjwabong rocks to the Yonghwabong summit. It is the route that explains the name Samak, rock mountain. Between Deungseonbong and Samakjwabong the rock stands up in blades, and hikers compare it to the Gongnyong ridge in Seoraksan. It is not for first visits; learn the mountain on the Deungseon Falls route first.
