Palgongsan itineraries
Dongbong in a Day
The classic Palgongsan line: up the stream behind Donghwasa, past the rock Buddha at Yeombulam, to Dongbong and back. You finish with braised ribs in Dongin-dong.
Gatbawi and Cable Car
Day one is an hour of stairs to the Buddha in his stone hat; day two is a seven-minute cable car over Daegu. Easy on the knees and the clock.
Eunhaesa to Gunwi
A wide loop around Palgongsan: Eunhaesa in Yeongcheon, a city meal in Daegu, Pagyesa, a stone-wall village and a cave Buddha in Gunwi. Little walking, plenty to see.
