From the Maeyeo terminus the trail goes up past a check dam, the Gapal Hwancho rest stop and the Maehwancho junction to Chorye Mountain. At 3.3 km it is short, yet Daegu city lists 2 h 10 min and rates it hard because it gains height quickly. Pace yourself.
