From Gongsan Elementary School the walk passes Migok village, the Yongsu-dong shrine tree and the Sutaegol entrance, then follows the leaf-strewn Palgongsan ring road to Buinsa. Daegu city lists 9.8 km and 3 h 30 min. It skirts the mountain rather than climbing it, best in autumn when the ring road is carpeted with leaves.
