From Baehuryeong you step through the peaks in order, Nahan first and Birobong fifth, then leave the summit toward Buyong valley rather than the temple. The pass sits near 600 m, so the climb to 779 m is small on paper, yet there is bare rock and a dip and rise at every peak. The way down is said to be gentler than the Cheongpyeongsa descent. Since you do not end at the temple there is no boat to catch, but you do need to settle your ride back beforehand.
