Turn left at Naejangsa's Cheonwangmun gate and follow Geumseon valley. The first stretch is flat, then the path crosses the stream on eight bridges. Seven carry the names of people who saved the Annals; the eighth has none, so you can name it yourself. A lookout shows a 280-year-old maple leaning about 35 degrees. Then 221 steps lead to the Yongulam site and its cave, where Ahn Ui and Son Hong-rok hid the Jeonju archive's Annals in 1592. With legs to spare, 229 more steps reach the Eunjeogam site.
