Slip through the side gate by the Churyeong car park and take the Honam Jeongmaek ridge. From Janggunbong the temple sits in the middle of the peaks. Continue toward Yeonjabong, pass the lookout rest area, drop to Naejangsa and finish through the maple tunnel to the ranger station. It is quieter than the summit routes.
