Moaksan itineraries
Daewonsa day hike
The shortest route up, the same way down, then a tofu lunch. You can leave Seoul in the morning and still catch an evening train home.
Geumsansa traverse
Start in a temple courtyard, cross the summit, and walk out the other side: 9.4 km. The next day is a slow eat-and-stroll in the hanok village.
Ridge, temple, hanok
Day one is the toughest ridge, day two is Geumsansa and the hanok village, day three a mountain temple. Only one real hike, so your knees survive.
