A 21 km foothill walk past Gwisinsa and Geumpyeong reservoir to Geumsansa

From Yugakjae the route passes Gwisinsa, Ssarijae, the Sinda forest path, Seogangsa, Namgang Jeongsa, Seoritgol and Geumpyeong reservoir, then Geumsansa and on to the Baeje boundary. It skips the summit and spends the day among villages, temples and the reservoir on the west foot of the mountain. It is much longer than Course 2, so many walkers split it into sections.
