Manisan itineraries
Stairs up, lunch below
The classic day: the stairs to Chamseongdan and back, then lunch at the trailhead. Round trip is about two and a half hours, so the afternoon is still yours.
Ridge traverse, Jeondeungsa
Climb the gentler Dangun-ro, cross the rock ridge and drop into Hamheo-dongcheon. The second day is for loosening up at Jeondeungsa and a tidal-flat fort.
Sea and temples, 3 days
Climb on day one, wander the east-side temple, valley and tidal fort on day two, and finish at Jeondeungsa. Two nights in a west-coast pension.
