From the Sangui car park the first 2.2 km to Yongchu Falls feels like a stroll. Another 1.9 km brings you to the Hurimegi junction, and from there the trail changes character: the last 2.6 km is stairs and rock up to Gamebong (882 m). It is 6.7 km each way on the same path. Shorter than the long traverse from Jeolgol, and the simplest way to stand on the park's highest point in a day.
