Juheulsan itineraries
Saejae to the Summit
The classic line: leave the old Saejae road, follow the stream to the temple, then climb onto the summit rock. Afterwards your legs get a grill and a bench.
Jogokgol Loop and Jinnam
Day one is a loop where the way down looks nothing like the way up. Day two is a gentle walk under river cliffs and a fish stew, easy on tired legs.
Bubong Ridge, 3 Days
Day one warms up on the old road. Day two is the full ridge traverse over the summit and Bubong rocks to the third gate. Day three trades boots for a coal museum and a market. For strong walkers.
