Songgwangsa on the west slope of Jogyesan is a monastic temple that produced 16 national masters. The temple stay comes in rest and experience types, and per reviews guests stay in a building next to the Seongbo Museum. Programs include walking meditation through the grounds and forest paths, tea with a monk, seated meditation, the bowl meal and visits to hermitages. The Cheongnyanggak bridge at the entrance and the tree-lined approach are worth a look.
