Jirisan itineraries
Cheonwangbong in a Day
The shortest way to the top of mainland South Korea and back. You spend about seven hours and get ridgelines rolling away in every direction.
Jangteomok Sunrise
Day one is only the valley climb to Jangteomok. Day two you join the line of headlamps for sunrise on Cheonwangbong. Your feet get a less rushed day than on the day trip.
Three Sides of Jirisan
Day one is temple and ridge in Gurye, day two tea and stream in Hwagae, day three a valley walk in Baemsagol. You skip the summit, and the mountain still shows three faces.
