From behind Ssanggyesa the trail passes Gukssaam and Hwanhakdae to Bulil Falls, 4.8 km round trip and about three hours. Most of it is forest track beside the stream, the lightest outing in the whole Jirisan range. Only the last stretch turns steep and stony, and then the water drops straight off a high cliff. Add a look around the temple grounds and it fills half a day.
